The Project
The villa sits in the Harmony cluster of Tilal Al Ghaf, one of Dubai's premium master communities. The owners wanted one consistent floor running through the open-plan living areas, kitchen, bedrooms, dressing room and staircase, with specialist surfaces where they mattered: soft rugs in the lounges and a hard-wearing rubber floor in the home gym. We handled supply and installation across all of it, so a single team owned the result from measurement to handover.
Wood-Look SPC Flooring in a Chevron Lay
We installed wood-look SPC flooring in a chevron pattern across the whole home. SPC (stone polymer composite) is a rigid-core vinyl: it carries the warm look of light oak while staying fully waterproof, hard-wearing and quiet underfoot, which suits a busy family villa and Dubai's climate. Laying it in a chevron pattern turns a standard plank floor into a design feature, and running the same floor continuously from the entrance through the living areas, kitchen and bedrooms keeps the whole villa visually calm and open. On the staircase and landing the same wood-look finish carries the flow upstairs.
Area Rugs for the Living Spaces
In the living room and TV lounge we added area rugs to soften the open spaces and define the seating zones over the hard floor. A round rug anchors the main lounge beneath the curved sofa, and a textured rug grounds the TV lounge. Rugs let a family layer comfort and warmth onto a hard floor without losing its clean, continuous look.
Rubber Flooring for the Home Gym
The home gym needed a floor built for weights and cardio, not looks alone. We fitted interlocking rubber flooring: dense, shock-absorbing tiles that protect the subfloor, cut noise and give secure footing for training. It is the same specification we install in commercial gyms, sized here for a private home setup.
The Result
The finished villa runs on one continuous wood-look SPC floor, with rugs and a rubber gym floor added exactly where they earn their place. Waterproof, hard-wearing and installed by a single team, it is built to hold up to daily family life while keeping the calm, high-end look the home was designed for.
