Urban Flooring Maintenance and Decor Works ("Urban Flooring", "we", "us" or "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and your rights, in line with applicable UAE data protection law, including Federal Decree-Law No. 45 of 2021 on the Protection of Personal Data (PDPL).

Information We Collect

We only collect information you choose to give us, and basic technical data when you use our website. This includes:

Contact details you provide: your name, phone or WhatsApp number, email address, and any project details you share when you request a quote, message us or call us.
Enquiry details: the type of flooring, approximate area, the rooms or spaces involved, and any other information you send.
Website usage data: pages visited, device and browser type, approximate location and referral source, collected through cookies and similar technologies (see our Cookie Policy).

We do not collect payment card details through this website, and we do not operate user accounts or online ordering.

How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

Respond to your enquiry and arrange a free site visit.
Prepare and send you a quote, and carry out work you instruct.
Contact you about your enquiry or project by phone, WhatsApp or email.
Improve our website and understand how visitors use it.
Where you have agreed, send you relevant updates or offers.
Meet our legal and regulatory obligations.

Legal Basis

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (for example when you message us, call us or ask us to send you offers), to take steps at your request before entering into a contract, to perform a contract with you, and for our legitimate interests in running and improving our business, in a way that does not override your rights. You may withdraw your consent at any time, and we will stop the processing that relied on it.

Analytics and Advertising

Our website uses Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use the site, and advertising tools including the Meta (Facebook and Instagram) pixel and Google Ads, which use cookies to measure campaigns and to show our ads on other platforms (remarketing). These tools may collect data such as your device, pages viewed and interactions, and may combine it with data held by those providers, who process it under their own privacy policies.

UAE law does not require a cookie consent banner and this website does not show one. You can control or switch off this tracking at any time through your browser settings, the Google Analytics opt-out add-on, and the ad settings in your Google and Meta accounts. Full instructions are in our Cookie Policy. You can also email us and ask us to stop processing your data for advertising, and we will action it.

If you visit from the United Kingdom or the European Economic Area, analytics and advertising storage is withheld by default. No advertising profile is built from your visit and you are not added to our remarketing audiences.

Sharing Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share it only with: our own staff and installation team to deliver your project; trusted service providers who help us run our business (such as website hosting, analytics and advertising providers named above); and authorities or advisers where required by law. Some providers (such as Google and Meta) may process data outside the UAE; where that happens we take reasonable steps to ensure appropriate protection.

How Long We Keep It

We keep enquiry and customer information only as long as needed to respond to you, carry out work, meet legal obligations and keep proper business records, after which it is securely deleted or anonymised.

Your Rights

Subject to UAE law, you may request access to the personal data we hold about you, ask us to correct, delete or transfer it, restrict or stop its processing, withdraw your consent, or object at any time to our use of your data for direct marketing. To make a request, email info@urbanfloorings.com. We will respond within one month, or tell you if a complex request needs longer.

If you are not satisfied with our response, you may raise the matter with the competent UAE authority. The UAE Data Office established under the PDPL is not yet fully operational, and the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) currently acts as the contact point for data protection queries.

Security

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your information against loss, misuse and unauthorised access. No method of transmission over the internet is completely secure, but we work to protect your data once we receive it.

WhatsApp and Third-Party Communication

When you contact us via WhatsApp, your messages are also handled by WhatsApp (Meta) under its own terms and privacy policy. We use the information you send only to respond to and manage your enquiry. We do not send marketing messages to people who have not asked for them, and you can tell us to stop contacting you at any time.

We may update this policy from time to time. The latest version will always be on this page with its "last updated" date.
