How We Install Artificial Grass and Outdoor Carpet
Installation differs by application. We handle both.
Ground-Level Turf
Ground preparation, a weed membrane, a compacted sand or aggregate sub-base, then we lay and join the turf, add sand infill and brush the pile up.
Balcony, Terrace & Outdoor Carpet
We clean and measure the surface, cut to fit, lay over sound tile or concrete, fix the edges and check the drainage falls. No sub-base is needed on hard surfaces.

Does artificial grass fade or get hot in the UAE sun?
Quality artificial grass is UV-stabilised, so it resists fading for years under strong sun. Like any surface it warms in direct heat, but lighter colours, a hose-down and an optional cooling infill bring the temperature down. We supply UV-protected turf made for UAE conditions.
How much does artificial grass cost in Dubai?

Yes. On balconies, terraces and rooftops we lay turf-carpet directly over sound tile or concrete, cut to fit and edge-fixed with drainage checked. No sub-base is needed on hard surfaces. Ground-level gardens need a prepared sand or aggregate base instead.
Is artificial grass safe for pets and children?
Yes. Our artificial grass is soft, hard-wearing and made for play areas and pet runs, with a free-draining backing that rinses clean. There is no mud, pesticides or watering, so it stays clean and low-maintenance year-round.
How do you clean and maintain artificial grass?
Very little upkeep is needed. Hose it down to clear dust and sand, brush the pile occasionally to keep it upright, and rinse after pets. No watering, mowing or fertilising. In Dubai's dusty climate, a monthly rinse keeps it looking fresh.
Do you supply only, or also install?
Both. Urban Flooring is a supply-and-installation company. One team handles turf selection, site visit, measurement and fitting, so there is a single point of accountability. Supply-only orders are possible if you have your own installer. Free site visit comes as standard.
